DEI Training

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, or DE&I as its frequently referred, is a standard that outlines the efforts an organization takes to create a more welcoming environment for people of less-privileged identities. It seeks to create meaningful, systemic change toward more equitable environments.

This training will underline the specifics of each component of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and providing some strategies to implement and improve DEI within the workplace. We’ll discuss unconscious bias and how to respond to prejudice and stereotypes to discourage physical and emotional distance between members of different social groups. Lastly, we will talk about current hate crimes against Asians because of the COVID-19 pandemic and why these extreme forms of bias have led to hostility, harassment, and aggression.
